Madonna has revealed details of her upcoming fashion line for Macy's, and it's not the collection you might expect. Her new Material Girl collection is a junior line targeting 13 to 25 year olds.
The Material Girl range will include apparel, handbags, footwear, and jewelry. The collection was reportedly inspired by Madonna's teenage daughter Lourdes Leon, so we can probably expect to see lots of studs and faux leather!
"Lourdes has an incredible sense of style and her point of view on fashion has definitely been an inspiration for the line," confirmed Macy's spokesperson Jeff Gennette.
The Material Girl collection is expected to hit Macy's stores in August with pieces affordably priced from $12 to $40.
If you're a more mature Madonna fan, don't worry. Material Girl is only the first project for her multi-label fashion range known as MG Icon. I'm sure Madonna will cater for more grown-up tastes soon!
