This has been a long time coming (4,000 years, give or take a few centuries). But, at last, style-conscious Jewish folk have something reasonably sharp to pop on their heads. Now, to all you trigger-happy commenters, we're not saying fashion should trump observance. But as anyone who's grown up as a member of the Tribe (ahem) knows, there may be a plethora of options for the gents (and sometimes ladies) who don yarmulkes (or kippah, if you will), but frustratingly few of them match with natty modern menswear. Enter NY street-style photog, designer, and all-around mench Mordechai "Mr. Mort" Rubinstein with a pair of sharp, preppy patterns that should match the shirt and jacket you wear to shul, as well as your tie does. While the traditionally Scottish tartan pattern is a nice, cheeky touch, we're more about the light-blue number with the pheasant motif and how it cleverly undermines W.A.S.P. fashion.
