MICHAEL Michael Kors Leather & Calf Hair Saddle Bag | Sleek Leopard Print Cross Body Bag
Micahel Kors has never been one of my most favorite designers, Â but it seems like he's been working hard to change people's minds these past few seasons. The MICHAEL line, in particular, has been churning out fashion forward, affordable accessories that are worth keeping an eye on.
The leopard print on this bag is spectacular, and there are few combinations that I like better than calf hair and animal print. Unfortunately, the hair on this material is a bit short, and a lot of the luxurious appeal of calf hair seems to have been trimmed along with the length.
The overall look of the bag, however, is really solid. The pouch shape is very of-the-moment, as is the cool cross-body styling. The leather trim is a great detail, as is the durable front strap and clasp design. I don't care much for the hanging logo tag, but it's easily removed.
The very reasonable $330 price tag makes it easy to overlook minute details when the bag has such a great look.

Gucci's glamorous, refined aesthetic has set the standard in fashion for decades. This vintage-inspired 1973 bag combines the best of its past and very contemporary elegance.
Oh, Valentino, how do I love thee? I could count the ways or I could count the decades. Either way, the Valentino line has stolen more than its fair share of my heart. Even after the main man's retirement, the house still manages to surprise and delight with bags like this one.

See by Chloe has been a little inconsistent in the past few seasons, but I'm more than willing to overlook that if the label keeps putting out great bags like this Carmen shoulder bag. It's got a streamlined ladylike aesthetic that is hip but versatile.
Yves Saint Laurent is doing amazing things lately. Its designs teeter on the edge of edginess, but veer towards the classy and classic. This Roady hobo is exactly what I'm talking about.
Gucci has really been drawing on its roots this season. Every bag it puts out seems to be more classic than the next. This monogrammed canvas and leather shoulder bag is a great example of the way the line is reinvigorating its preppy chic aesthetic.
Phillip Lim is one of the most interesting, and most modern, contemporary designers. It's not because he adds a whole bunch of bells and whistles to his designs either. It's because he keeps his aesthetic clean and consistent. This Nashki clutch epitomizes Lim's style, even if there are a few bumps in the design.
There's something really cool and modern about a lot of Stella McCartney's designs lately. Unfortunately, this quilted bowling bag just isn't the best example of her increasingly interesting aesthetic.
